On the left I'm with two girls from my "boat"-litter, on the right with Deimos Bon Jour, kitten from my first manx-litter.

Welcome to my pages!

My breeding name FIN* DEIMOS is the other moon to the planet Mars and means terror. It is also the warhorse of the god Mars with his brother Phobos. I got my breeding name with my friend Heli Suomela in 1999 and after Heli passed away, I had the name by myself.

I am 38 years old, I am a bartender and I live in Espoo in a little house of our own.
I don't have any female cats living with me, just the males. The litters that I breed are born where the females live.
I started showing cats in 1991. The breeder of my first norwegian wanted me to come to one show with him. He was BIV in his first show, and I was sold :) He went to 58 shows in his time!
But my catshow hobby goes on!

Johanna died in early September 2008. Her fight against aggressive cancer took years but finally she had to give up. Breeding and Cats were of utmost importance to Johanna until the very last day and she planned the future of her breeding well in advance.

Johanna was a friend on mine and I could not refuse when she asked me to take care of Deimos-breeding and her plans after her deadth, that was around Christmas 2007.

I am Jasmin Etelämäki, in my thirties now and living in Viikki, in Helsinki. I have raised two host-litters under the name of Deimos, the scooter-litter and italian cars -litter. I have two NFO girls living with me now, Riva and Vespa. My girls are still young cats but I have always loved animals, cats and dogs in particular and my first real cat friend "Kisu" soon turns 15 years. He is living with my parents in the countryside near Helsinki.

I am very thankful for all the help and advice Johanna´s friends and owners of Deimos-cats have given me for Deimos-breeding. I have inherited beatiful cats and well prepared plans from Johanna and I wish that I succeed to keep Deimos-breeding as ambititious as she did.

My goal is to breed healthy and nice pets which have some added value to contribute to the breeding of their own race in the future.
